Nicole DeBruyne, BS, BA
Graduate Student
Nicole DeBruyne is a 1st year Genetics and Epigenetics PhD student in the Cell and Molecular Biology program at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina in 2020. She previously worked as a research technician at the North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she studied the genetic basis of hereditary cardiac and neurological diseases in cats and dogs. Her current interests involve utilizing various sequencing technologies and cell-based assays to understand the genetics of human disease.
