June Teichmann is a research tech at the Center for Computational and Genomic Medicine. She received her BS in Food Science at the University of Delaware and her MS at Penn State, where she focused on mitigating food pathogen contamination and increasing butyrate production in the gut microbiome, respectively. She recently moved from Boston, where she worked at several microbiome startups. At CHOP, she hopes to broaden her molecular skill set and learn more about cancer immunology.
