Ellen Yabut is a work-study laboratory assistant at the Center for Computational and Genomic Medicine. She is an international undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, studying Biochemistry and Medical Sociology. Her previous research experiences involved local and international research projects targeting the SDGs, natural products, and organic synthesis. Currently, she is interested in the convergence of gene-environment interactions in influencing health outcomes, aiming to formulate robust multifactorial disease models.
